Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Housefull 3 may be in trouble after his wife Twinkle Khanna innocently joked about Art of Living pioneer Sri Sri Ravishankar on social media.

Khanna, who is @Mrsfunnybones on Twitter, tweeted about Ravishankar’s recent remark on Malala Yousafzai getting Noble Prize.

While the tweet was later deleted, this was what she had originally said:

What she did not see coming were the threats from AOL followers, led by it’s international director, Darshan Hathi, who tweeted:

Twinkle later apologised and clarified that she didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments:

But Hathi, did not take this lightly at first and replied, “Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old & Being wise is different thing.” (this tweet too was later deleted).

To which Twinkle gave responsed:

From the conversation that followed later it looked like Darshan Hathi too took back his words:

Houseful 3 is a comedy starring Akshya Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez, and will  release on June 3. The matter seems to have been settled and apologies publicly exchanged. But the question remains, will the film still face trouble in the box office over a tweet? Let’s wait and watch.
