BJP MLA Kailash Choudhary has taken the battle over ant-national slogans being used in JNU. He wants Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi to be hanged and shot for supporting “anti-nationals” who shouted slogans in support of Afzal Guru and Pakistan.

And that’s not all the MLA from Barmer’s Baytoo constituency in Rajasthan wants. He also wants an apology from the Congress Vice President.

“ If he goes and supports such anti-national people…he should be shot. I am a nationalist and if anyone raises a finger at Bharat Mata, I will not tolerate it,” said Kailash Choudhary.

But this is hardly the first attack on the Congress Vice President since the controversy broke.

Earlier on Monday, BJP chief Amit Shah had accused Rahul Gandhi of dividing the nation after supporting the protest led by separatists. Shah said that Rahul had proved that national interest had no place in his mind.

“An attempt was made to defame a leading university in the national capital by turning it into a centre which encourages terrorism and separatism. I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if it would be in national interest had the central government kept quiet?” Shah had said.
