The whole brouhaha over the ethically wrong Free Basics campaign by Facebook has got a lot of people really riled up. We even did a detailed piece about how it’s a discriminatory scam used to impose unnecessary regulations on our internet usage, all disguised in a bubble of ‘progress’. To that end, a certain Redditor decided to run his own hilarious ad campaign against Free Basics, using the same generic stock photo layout that Facebook thought would be so effective.

People need to learn about how Free Basics will really affect us. As is evident, the scheme may come in a nice looking package, but it only puts more power in the hands of the already powerful.
