Former Union Minister of State for Ministry of Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury is back in the news albeit for a different reason this time.
In a picture uploaded by Rishi Bagree, the minister is seen sitting in a restaurant while what looks to be her nanny can be seen standing next to her.
Dear Renuka Chowdary
If you can’t feed the little girl minding your child, please don’t bring them to a restaurant! pic.twitter.com/N104ZYtVKN— Rishi Bagree (@rishibagree) 31 May 2016
The image immediately evoked a strong response from the twitterati.
@arunrush @rishibagree @1SH4N Your household help that’s taking care of you and your family should be treated like family…

@rishibagree @TajinderBagga should not renuka be booked for child labour ? I think this is criminal act

@rishibagree this is so outrageous, sad and insensitive

However, there were some who pointed out that it was a sad, yet a very common sight across the country.
@RNB_Indian @rishibagree agreed , but quite unfair to single her out. This is something which you’ll find with people from across parties .

But overall, everybody was feeling bad for the girl standing.
@rishibagree Forget feeding, could have atleast offered a seat
