Nihal Bitla was just one year old when his parents were told he had progeria — a rare genetic disorder which makes a child grow old faster.

This rare genetic disorder causes the skin to thin and wrinkle as well as joints and bones to become fragile. Other symptoms include organ failure and body hair loss. Majority of progeria patients do not reach adulthood and can barely survive their teenage years. It all sounds very grim but it has not stopped Nihal from living his life to the fullest.

Nihal, who is now 13, has already made a bucket list of how he is going to live his life. Among other things, he wants to visit Disneyland and see a Honda Asimo Robot in action. And lest he forgets, he wishes to meet actor Aamir Khan and thank him for his film Taare Zameen Par .
