The relationships we see on screen sometimes look too good to be true in real life. Various shows have set friendship and relationship goals for generations altogether but you might be surprised to know that some of these actors who deliver amazing chemistry on screen can’t really stand each other in real life. As heartbreaking as it may sound, their witty repartee on screen is just too believable for us to think that they might hate each other in real life.

1. Sarah Jessica Parker & Kim Cattrall – Sex and the City

They were the best of friends on the show, Sex and the City, but weren’t too pally with each other off-screen. Though the two have never confirmed their feud, it’s said that at one point, they’d talk to each other only during their scenes.

2. Chad Michael Murray & Sophia Bush – One Tree Hill

Their characters once dated on the show but even after their break up, they were really close friends on screen. But in real life, Chad & Sophia broke up 5 months after they got married. Bush later stated that they shouldn’t have dated in the first place.

3. Marcia Cross & Teri Hatcher – Desperate Housewives

The four leading characters were shown to be best friends on the show but that act was just for the screen. In real life, rumour has it that Teri Hatcher (Susan) wasn’t close to any of them. Marcia Cross (Bree) even threatened to walk out of a magazine shoot if Hatcher was given the center spot in the picture.

4. David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson – The X-Files

Mulder & Scully were quite a powerful team on the show. Though, they are cordial with each other now, but David once said that there was a time when they couldn’t be around one another.

5. Lea Michele & Naya Rivera – Glee

They were frenemies on the high school musical drama but off screen, Naya apparently didn’t like Lea’s starry attitude. She reportedly called her out on it and it didn’t end well. Naya was written out of the show’s finale.

Serena van der Woodsen & Blair Waldorf were best friends on the show and while there were phases where they sabotaged each others’ lives, they still loved each other dearly. Off-screen, Blake & Leighton’s friendship started off quite well, but didn’t last that long. While filming the last two seasons of the show, the two had stopped hanging out and were quite cold towards one another.

7. Lauren Graham & Scott Patterson – Gilmore Girls

The two star crossed lovers from Stars Hollow were loved on the show. Initially, Scott was just cast for a few episodes, but his chemistry with Lauren’s character was so perfect that he was retained. But in real life, the case was quite different. Lauren once mentioned that ever since the show wrapped, they have never kept in touch and she doesn’t regret it.

8. Julianna Margulies & Archie Panjabi – The Good Wife

Initially, the two were very close friends in the beginning of the show but were shown to have a fight later. It was reported that the women didn’t want to spend any time with each other and weren’t even ready to shoot any scenes together. It came into notice when even after their on-screen rift was resolved, the actresses never featured in a scene together ever again. Archie left the show last season.

9. William Shatner & George Takei – Star Trek

Captain Kirk and Lieutenant Sulu worked on various missions side by side but off-screen, they really hated each other. In fact, they have openly expressed their dislike for each other on various occasions. Unlike many celebrities, they don’t shy away from showing their hatred.

10. Ariana Grande & Victoria Justice – Victorious

They were really close when the show started but things went downhill after a while. In fact, when the show ended, the two even lashed out on each other on Twitter. Grande accused Justice of not wanting to continue the show and Justice fired back at Grande saying, #StopBeingAPhony.
