As a kid, birthdays are something we all look forward to. We get to be the centre of all the attention, from friends, family, even teachers at school. And birthday parties are events where all mischievousness is forgiven.
However, this was not the case with 6-year-old Teddy from Tuscon, Arizona. Teddy had invited 32 of his friends to Peter Piper Pizza restaurant but sadly not one of them showed up.
His mother, Sil Mazzini had been warned by some of the parents that their kids might not make it to the party but she had no idea that nobody would be present.
Sil jokingly told ABC15 that she was done with parties for a while. Although, nobody would blame her if she wasn't joking either.
Although as soon as his picture of eating alone went viral, wishes from far and wide started pouring in, most notably from the Basketball team Phoenix Suns.
Even football club The Phoenix Rising invited Teddy to ‘join 7,000 of his closest friends’ at an upcoming playoff game.
Following a series of tweets wishing him on his birthday, Teddy made a 'Thank You' video and sent it to UNILAD.
So, Teddy, it looks like it was all worth it, doesn't it?
