Bernard Arnault is the CEO of LVMH, a luxury good conglomerate owning the likes of Louis Vitton, Bulgari & Tag Heuer. A vivid art collector, Bernard owns pieces of Picasso & Andy Warhol. Earning an Engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in France, Bernard is an engineer by definition, but a businessman by trade. 

3. Sachin and Binny Bansal – Valuation $650-750 Million

Sachin and Binny Bansal both graduated from IIT, Delhi, after completing their Computer Science course. They left their well-paying jobs and started their own firm from an apartment in Bangalore using Rs. 4,00,000 and called it Flipkart. Back in 2007, Sachin and Binny would hop on to their scooters and deliver the products to their customers themselves. 

4. Mark Zuckerberg – Valuation $59.5 Billion

Zuckerberg left Harvard at the age of 19 to kickstart the global giant now known as Facebook. Synapse, a software that could learn users’ music listening habit was created by him when he was in high school and during that time, AOL & Microsoft even tried to recruit him. 

5. Sergey Brin & Larry Page – Valuation $40.8 & 39.9 Billion, respectively.

Larry Page & Sergey Brin together founded the search engine Google, back in 1998 and have never looked back since. Apart from making the Internet what it is today, Google is also investing in creating driverless cars. Larry Page completed his Master’s Degree in Computer Science, while Sergey Brin has Degrees in Mathematics & Computer Science. 

6. Jeff Bezos – Valuation $75.2 Billion

In 1994, he quit his rather lucrative Hedge Fund career in New York ‘coz he wanted to sell books on the Internet. Apart from just selling books, Bezos also loves the idea of space travel and even funded an Aerospace company, Blue Origin, to develop a reusable rocket.
