Every time we see Indian cinema come of age, we are let down with news of movies getting banned. Cinema is a powerful tool for dissent which is often tamed by the people it's dissenting. Does that not take away the freedom of expression of film makers? The debate and discussion is endless.
As a result, we have to make do with films like Dilwale, Ready and Golmaal over and over again. And that's exactly what irks filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Qaushiq Mukherjee (popularly known as Q) and Prakash Jha.
