Recently, Yadav had posted a few videos on Facebook wherein he alleged that the jawans weren't given adequate food and other facilities because of the prevalent corruption in the higher levels of the organization.
While he added that he didn't hold any particular government responsible for it, he urged the media to highlight the "poor" conditions of BSF soldiers and request PM Narendra Modi to look into it.
IBT also reports that Yadav had a difficult past and from his initial days in the field, he had been taking counseling.
Due to the wide circulation of the video, Home Minister Rajnath Singh reportedly ordered the home secretary to seek a report from BSF and take an appropriate action for the same. On the other hand, BSF also tweeted that it had sent a senior official to enquire into the matter.
