Didn’t get enough time, motivation or general will to wash your hair? Well, same here! Sometimes it is the hectic schedule, and at other times, just plain laziness that keeps us from washing ém locks. But let’s be honest, going out with greasy, weighed down hair is the most embarrassing thing we’ve had to do once in a while.

But you don’t need to feel as guilty. Chemical products often strip your hair of the essential oils that keep your mane shining. Hence, it’s healthier to keep your cleansing routine to a minimum.

To deal with the problem of greasy hair, here are 10 easy hairstyles you should consider. The best part is that they’re minimal and require very little effort.

1. Half Up, Half Down

This one is as simple as it is stylish. Most women swear by it to get them through greasy days. Start by separating two front sections and twisting them back. Cross them over and secure with a pin. If you don’t have a pin, you can use an elastic band.

2. Twisted Crown

All you have to do is part your hair from the middle or sideways, and make a braid using the front section on both the sides. Take the braids at the back, cross them over and fix with a pin. You’ll have a pretty dreamy hairdo all through the day!

 3. Half Up Bun

If your lazy side gets the better of you, this hairdo is made for you. Just comb your hair towards the back. You may go for a parting if you wish to. Gather your hair from ear to ear and secure the section in a bun and you’re ready to look badass!

4. Side Ponytail

This is a rather elegant hairstyle and is super easy to achieve. Comb out your hair and decide on the parting. Take all your hair to the side and tie with an elastic band. After that, just part your hair above the hair tie. Flip inward and you are good to go.

5. Braided Ponytail

A fancier version of the regular pony tail, this one will make you look boho and breezy in minutes. Do the usual routine with combing and dividing, then take a few hair strands on the front and start braiding. Braid it all the way through and secure with an elastic band. Take all your hair and tie it high up. Get prepared to receive all the compliments.

6. Messy Bun

Pull your hair into a loose ponytail, as high or as low as you’d like it. Separate the hair in your ponytail into two or three sections and tease it. Separate your teased hair into two sections and wrap the hair in opposite directions but instead of pinning your hair neatly in, secure it with a bobby pin about an inch from the bottom of your strands, leaving the ends to fray around your bun, creating a messy effect. This might take a while but just look at it! Would you mind spending a few minutes on it? I wouldn’t!

7. Braided Bun

This one will make you look pretty while hiding the greasy hair perfectly. Once you’re done combing and parting, take a few hair strands in the front to make a braid. After you’re done braiding, take all the hair back and tie it in a neat bun. You’re good to go.

8. Fishtail Braid

It really isn’t as difficult as it looks like, and makes you look super cute. Divide your hair into a side parting and take the whole length of your hair over to one side. Then split it into two sections. Take a small piece of hair from the outside of one of the two main sections and bring it to the inside of the opposite section. Then take a small piece of hair from the outside of the other section and bring it to the inside of the opposite section. Keep repeating and you’ll have a pretty fishtail braid!

9. French Braid

Once again, a braid that is as easy as it gets and makes you look super neat. Before braiding, brush your hair to smooth out any knots or tangles. Gather hair at top of your head and divide it into three sections. Cross the sections and repeat adding hair and crossing sections. Secure the braid at the end with a band and voila! You’re done.

10. Deep Side Parting

This is the easiest of the lot and allows you to keep your hair open. As the name suggests, the side parting needs to be farther than your usual way of parting. Tuck the parted hair behind your hair or use a pin to secure the parting. Either way, this one is as easy as it gets when you haven’t washed your hair.
