A man who says he’s from the 29th battalion of the Border Security Force in Jammu and Kashmir has posted three videos on Facebook in which he has complained about the pathetic condition of BSF jawans.

In his videos, a jawan named Tej Bahadur Yadav, whose identity couldn’t be verified, speaks about how jawans aren’t being provided adequate food and other facilities because of corruption at higher levels of the organisation.

ScoopWhoop News was unable to verify the identity of the man or the authenticity of the videos.

This is the video titled ‘B.S.F. jawan je jabani’ by Tej Bahadur Yadav:

Yadav says that he doesn’t hold any governments responsible and said that despite successive governments doing their best, jawans aren’t being provided anything. He accuses the senior officers for swindling the money meant for the forces.

He urges the media to highlight their poor conditions and requests Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into the matter.

In a video titled ‘BSF jawan ka naashta’ ( BSF jawan’s breakfast), he shows what he says is a typical breakfast for jawans consisting of a chapati and tea. He also says the quality of chapati is poor.

Another video shows dal being prepared with just turmeric and salt and no pulses in it. No other ingredient is being added because according to the cook, the kitchen is out of stock.

Despite clearly maintaining that posting such a video could endanger his life and safety, Yadav says that he will continue to voice his opinion against injustice.

Service rules normally prohibit defence and paramilitary personnel from airing footage from their workplaces.
