It was truly a historic and memorable moment when Prince Harry stepped onstage and sang alongside the music titans, Coldplay, in the finale of the royal's charity concert held at his Kensington Palace.

According to a report in VanityFair the concert was held at the palace on Tuesday night for Sentebale, his charity that works to help children in Lesotho. The pop concert was organised to raise funds and spread awareness around the challenged faced by HIV patients in Africa, reports dailymail.co.uk

The official twitter account tweeted about the event and posted a video from the finale of the concert:

The dailymail.co.uk report also suggests that the elated Prince joined the immensely popular band onstage and thanked Coldplay by shouting to the audience,

'Thank you for standing out in the rain, thank you to the choir that has come all the way from Lesotho. Please drive home safely and carry the work of Sentebale. And thank you to Coldplay - thank you so much, you've rocked the palace, you've rocked the palace!'

Singer Jon Stone too showed solidarity with the cause and attended the event. The singer who also happens to be a Senetable ambassador, said,
