Famous for hate speeches, VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi has now announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh to any person who will behead Mumbai-based TV evangelist and preacher, Zakir Naik. The announcement came while she was speaking to media persons at Roorkee in Uttarakhand.
“I have announced the reward because Zakir Naik is not a religious preacher, but a terrorist,” Prachi told The Indian Express. Later, she clarified that the announcement she made was in her individual capacity and it should not be associated with VHP, the report adds.

She further urged the government to investigate the links of all “such preachers working in madrasas” with terrorists. The leader also claimed that soon after her announcement, a caller named Shahid had threatened to kidnap her.
It is not the first time that the pro-Hindutva leader has made such a controversial statement. Earlier this year, she had declared that India should be made completely Muslim free. An FIR against her was filed after the incident. She has also been accused of playing instrumental role in both the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots case and the Babri Masjid demolition.
