Superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed his frustration on social media after being detained at the Los Angeles airport by US immigration officials.
The actor's tweet about the detention was re-tweeted over 5,000 times and obviously there were all kinds of responses to it.
Like West Bengal Minister Mamta Banerjee, who tweeted saying that the incident was 'unfortunate'
I am shocked to hear about the harassment caused to @iamsrk. Security is security but this is very unfortunate and embarrassing— Mamata Banerjee (@MamataOfficial) August 12, 2016
There was one guy who pointed this out:
Some said rules should be the same for everyone
#ShahRukhKhan Global star but every country has its own rules. No celeb bigger than National Security. SRK should not complain. Be Tolerant.— Anshul Saxena (@AskAnshul) August 12, 2016
Some took a dig at his fans.
His name is Khan and he is not a terrorist not trending? I am disappointed. Los Angeles. #ShahRukhKhan— Pranav Jain (@pranavjain10) August 12, 2016
And obviously there were jokes
US police detained #ShahRukhKhan at airport and Indian police can't even detain an actor on Footpath.— The Viral Fever (@TheViralFever) August 12, 2016
