Shobhaa De, who made a notorious remark about our Olympic contingent last week, has been made to eat her words by the inspiring victories of Sakshi and Sindhu. 

And it looks like she’s not taking it too well.

While India stands just one step short of a probable gold medal, the columnist decided to stoop a little lower and instead of lauding the shuttler, she decided to go for a cheeky tweet.

However, Shobhaa quickly went on the back foot soon after twitterverse took her case! Looks like she suddenly acknowledged Sindhu’s thumping victory over Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara and decided to float with the public sentiment.
