Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, is at it again! The latest people to benefit from Swaraj's ability to do her efficiently are a distressed Indian woman and her seven-year-old daughter who were stuck in Germany.
The lady had made a video appealing to the Indian government for help in which she alleged that her husband's family had forced them to live in a refugee camp.
Swaraj responded to the video and in a series of tweets promised to ensure that she came home safe:
Gurpreet - Pl give me your phone number. https://t.co/KSPnjUu9uh— Sushma Swaraj (@SushmaSwaraj) February 2, 2016
A day later the foreign minister tweeted some good news:
We have brought Gurpreet and her 8 year old daughter from the refugee camp to our Consulate in Frankfurt. Pic pic.twitter.com/D1c7B6FidN— Sushma Swaraj (@SushmaSwaraj) February 3, 2016
