PM Narendra Modi, in what would be remembered as a historic address to the nation, informed everyone today of his latest move to ban Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes effective midnight.
Which means these notes will cease to be acceptable as legal tender post midnight of November 8 and is allegedly a step towards a total crackdown on black money.
Even as news of PM Modi’s bold new statement against black money made history, Bollywood was quick to react to the changes.
