"Extremely satisfied" with his maiden Test double hundred, India skipper Virat Kohli said the feat has helped him clear the memories of his disappointing debut tour to the Caribbean in 2011.
Kohli returned to the Caribbean after five years and got down to business, scoring his maiden 200 in the very first innings of the opening Test match against the West Indies.
And once he crossed the milestone, Twitterati just couldn't get enough of him:
@imVkohli is batting like Superman. Fitness with finesse: he is the Novak of modern cricket.— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) July 22, 2016

Had stopped watching--almost--cricket after Ganguli's exit; have started watching again due to Virat Kohli. What a champ!— विनोद शर्मा (@vinod_sharma) July 23, 2016
Someone even compared him to actor Rajinikanth.
Virat Kohli brings back the fans to Test Cricket just like How Rajinikant brings back the fans for his movie... ☺— Broken Cricket (@BrokenCricket) July 22, 2016
