Breaking up is hard.

If you’ve been in a relationship, chances are that you’ve been through the rigmarole of a breakup. It’s never easy and we often struggle with the things we need to say to our soon-to-be Ex. The demise of the relationship should be fast and painless, so we choose the correct words, twist, turn and sugar-coat them. When the truth is, we usually mean something completely different, don’t we?

So if you’ve broken up with someone or have been broken up with, you’ve probably heard some of these dialogues before.

“It’s not you, it’s me.”

“We can still be friends.”

“You deserve someone better.”

“I need to focus on other things right now. “

“I’m not ready for marriage.”

“We are in very different places right now.”

“We just aren’t meant to be.”

“You’re to good for a person like me.”

“I need some space to think about my life.”

But watch the full video below to find out what these dialogues really mean.
