Game of Thrones' ending came as a shock to a lot of us. But, it looks like we're not alone. The Three-Eyed Raven AKA Bran Stark ends up being 'chosen' as the King of 6 kingdoms. And we all went, 'say what?', at that very moment.
Isaac Hempstead-Wright, the actor who plays Bran in the show, said he thought it was a 'joke script' and that the makers are playing a prank on him.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said, "I genuinely thought it was a joke script and that [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] sent to everyone a script with their own character ends up on the Iron Throne. ‘Yeah, good one guys. Oh shit, it’s actually real?"
Although he's pretty happy with the ending, he thought it would be 'cool' if Bran had died in the last episode in a 'good death scene'.
He believes that Bran will be a good king. He further says that although being an 'emotive leader' is a useful quality in a king/queen; Bran would be a know-it-all, who can't be played with.
