Rohit Bhattacharya

When you’re sick of humans you just can’t ‘people’ anymore, get on your Instagram and follow these pets. They’ll totally raise the mood, dude.

1. Marnie The Dog

Marnie is a 17 year old Shih Tzu adopted from a shelter at age 11. She’s got 2 million followers, celebrities for friends, and the cutest tongue in the game.

2. Louboutina (Loubie) The Hugging Dog

As you might have inferred from the name, this doggo loves spreading the love. And what better way with hugs. She’s based in New York, but her pictures make pretty much everyone want to hug her.

3. Blizzard and Lulu

These canine BFFs look like something straight out of a cartoon – in fact, they kind of are! Tiny Lulu often sits on top of Blizzard, who’s a St. Bernard, and their lives form the basis of a series of watercolour books.

4. Nala Cat

Nala is the Guinness World Record holder for being The Most Popular Cat on Instagram! The Siamese/Tabby-mix has a massive 3.4 million followers. She was rescued from a shelter at 5 months.

5. Hamlet the Mini Pig

Her friends call her ‘Hammy’, and this little piggy’s got more style than the rest of us combined. Watch her life unfold on Instagram and feel a little bit happier in the process.

6. Lil Bub

If you’re not part of the Bub Club, what’re you even doing with your life? This tiny but shiny kitty is toothless, so her tongue is always hanging out of her mouth.

7. Pumpkin the Raccoon

Strange as it may seem, Pumpkin is in fact a domesticated raccoon. She was rescued by a family in the Bahamas when she was young, and now spends her days posing and playing the with family’s 2 dogs.

8. Loki the Wolfdog

Loki is straight out of Game of Thrones, but actually lives in Colorado. His pics are meant to inspire owners to go exploring with their pets in the wild.

9. Diddy and Yeti Kong

They’re a duo of marmosets who just love getting into all kinds of monkey business. The hijinks never end when these two primates are around.

10. Mr. Bagel the Chinchilla

Chinchilla’s are basically cute, squishy rodents who look funny no matter what they’re doing. Plus, anything with the name Mr. Bagel is good in my book.

11. Juniper – The Happiest Fox

This fox probably thinks she’s a dog – she likes scratches and belly rubs. She’s also the cutest animal you’ll ever see.

12. Venus the Two Face Cat

This exemplary cat looks like something straight out of a fantasy novel. She’s a magical being, and there’s no convincing me otherwise.

13. Maru the Shiba Inu

Maru lives in Japan, smiles and lot, is always there when you’re feeling low. Go give her a virtual hug!

14. Doug the Pug

Doug may be little, but his Insta following is huge! 3.6 million to be exact. This waddly doggy’s entire feed is good vibes only.

15. Dean the Basset Hound

Show some love to the big dogs as well. This floppy four-year-old is as cute as they come, and he’s got an attitude to boot. Dean, the goodest boi.

I need to get myself a pet, pronto.
