While He Battles Cancer, His Doggo BFF Is By His Side, Helping Him Heal With Puppy Kisses & Love

Friends make life work, friends make it all tolerable and friends pick you up when you’re down. Without friends, there’ll be so much that we’ll lose out on.

And it’s not just us humans who need friends, but animals need their own buddies too. The perfect example are these two doggos — Watson and Kiko.

The retriever-duo went viral on the internet for being the hugging doggos.

Their cuteness was too much to not pay attention to and soon enough, the BFFs became Instagram stars.

But times got tough and Kiko was diagnosed with cancer which led to complications and one of his legs had to be amputated.

But Watson was right beside his best friend and brother, hugging him with all his love. To have this support in the darkest of times is what friendship is all about.

Kiko doesn’t need to be alone during his battle with cancer and Watson makes sure of that every day.

Call it love but as luck would have it, Kiko is kicking cancer’s butt and showing more and more strength every day. Watson is by his side and that’s all the comfort he needs.

Also, side note: Do not give up on your sick pet. Fight it out with them and shower them with as much love and comfort that you can. It’ll be worth it.

Hug your best friend and let them know how much they mean to you.

More power to Kiko and love to Watson.
