When people talk about Odisha, it’s always two things: ‘Rasgulla no longer belongs to you’ & ‘Poorest state in the country’. Or the yearly dose of cyclones. But there is so much more to the state than what the popular opinion would lead you to believe.
Like every other state in the country, Odisha has a rich cultural heritage. It also has one of the most unique cuisines in the country. Add to that a flourishing ecosystem of flora and fauna and you have a region that one must visit.
Not so poor now, is it?
