Naresh Kumar Shad, who also wrote under the pen-name Shad Nakodari, was one of the most prominent Hindi-Urdu poets who was famous for writing Qat’aa and Rubai (forms of poetry). Shad, whose first poetry book was published when he was only 22 years old, was considered to be a ‘rival’ of famous poet Sahir Ludhianvi. Unfortunately, he passed away when he was in his early 40s.
