We’ve all heard them countless times by well-meaning parents and grandparents. I speak of the countless lessons that our sacred books and mythology teach us. Take Ramayana for instance: Praan jaaye par vachhan na jaye,  Ghar ka bedhi Lanka dhaaye, and then the more virtuous ones such as how truth is the ultimate Dharma. 

But those really don’t hold true in the contemporary times, do they?

So after deep study and astute assessment, here are the new age teachings that we can actually use from these 15 Ramayana characters.
