A celebrated artist, Iftikhar Naseem wrote and performed poetry in English, Urdu and Punjabi all over the world. His poetry collection ‘Narman’ (which means hermaphrodite or ‘half-man, half-woman’ in Persian) was the first to openly explore homosexual themes in the Urdu language.
