It has been 6 years since I left my parents’ house to live on my own. It has been both difficult and exciting to experience life the way I am right now. Living at home or living away from home have their own pros and cons. It is true for a lot of us living in India, to leave our parents’ house once we start making a living. The two lifestyles are so varied that sometimes, it is hard to choose between the two.
When we were home, all we could do was crib. And now, that we are living alone, looking after ourselves, we want to run home to our parents. Adulting is not easy but sadly, this is the way of life. Take a look at all the ways our lives have changed since we moved away from home.
