Recently, actor Vidya Balan talked about how she experienced a clear case of gender bias when she was judged for not knowing how to cook, even though her husband was in the same boat. 

This is certainly not the first time women have been subjected to flawed stereotypes and expected to perform certain roles. For far too long women have been treated as the ‘inferior’ gender and denied equal opportunities, despite no logical reasoning. 

This gender bias permeates industries, but it’s high time we raise a voice against it in our homes and our workplaces. Like these Bollywood actors did:
