Modern Family is one of the best comedies on TV right now. Revolving around the members of one, big dysfunctional family, the show promises a healthy dose of laughter in every episode. Although it’s tough to choose a favourite, it won’t be wrong to say that Haley is one of the best characters on the show.
The eldest of the Dunphy siblings, Haley takes her job of being pretty very seriously. Probably because she finds it tough to hold on to any of her other jobs. Not usually the smartest one in the room, her exchanges with her intelligent younger sister Alex are hilarious. Part of what makes Haley Dunphy so amazing is the actor that plays her. Sarah Hyland does a brilliant job of portraying a stereotypical American teenage girl. For her performance, she was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award in 2013.
