Hina Khan’s second exit from Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot had the fans questioning what’s in store for the show. However, it’s been confirmed now that Hina is being replaced by Aamna Sharif who will be returning to the small screen after 6 years!
In the recent clip released by StarPlus, the character of Komolika is shown undergoing plastic surgery to pave way for Aamna as the leading negative character on the show. Plastic surgery, again? Yup, Ekta Kapoor is all about those traditions. First Mihir and now Komolika. Aamna, usually the ideal bahu and the girl-next door will be playing a grey character for the first time on Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
The actor was last seen in the film, Ek Villian where she played Ritesh Deshmukh’s wife. Apart from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Aamna has another huge project in the works, Roohi Afza, a horror-comedy where she will star alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. So it’s safe to say that we will be seeing a lot more of Aamna on our screens!
