After a war of words that went on for weeks, the producers of the ‘&TV’ comedy show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain have finally found a replacement for Shilpa Shinde’s character, Angoori bhabhi. The ongoing legal drama between the producers, CINTAA and Shinde led to her ban from television. But the makers are moving on with a different actress for the role.
Shubhangi Atre will now be seen as Angoori Bhabhi on the show.
The producer of the show, Benaifer Kohli, told HT, “Shubhangi is an ideal combination of innocence and attractiveness. She is a fabulous actor and I think she will make an exceptional Angoori Bhabhi and will capture everyone’s heart with ease.”
This isn’t the first time Shubhangi has replaced Shilpa on a show. The actress earlier replaced Shilpa on the SAB TV show, Chidiya Ghar.
