According to a report filed by Network18, the incident took place around 12:30 pm when Aditya was taking a U-turn at Lokhandwala road. He failed to judge the traffic and accidentally hit his Mercedes Benz into an auto, sustaining a minor injury on his hand too.

The injured passenger and the driver reportedly identified as Surekha Shivekar and Rajkumar Palekar, were rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital by Narayan himself.

An officer from Versova police station has been quoted as saying,

Narayan did not try to escape from the spot and took the injured to the hospital. The driver has suffered head injuries and the passenger has also received injuries. Whether the injuries are life threatening or not, I will not comment on that as the doctors are treating them. Prima facie it did not look like a case of drink and drive but we are waiting for his medical reports.

After the incident, Aditya was arrested and then granted bail with a fine of Rs 10, 000.

b’Aditya misbehaving with airport staff in Raipurxc2xa0′

Last year in October, a video had gone viral where Aditya, who also happens to be yesteryear’s popular singer, Udit Narayan’s son, was seen threatening and hurling abuses at an airline staff member at Raipur Airport.

In the video, you can hear Aditya say,

“I know everybody was standing there. You are making this personal buddy. There are ten people who know that I started abusing you when you said do not abuse. I can say whatever I want to say… Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi.”

He was in the city for an event.
