Amidst the Khans of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar seems to be slowly changing the name of the game that Bollywood is with movies like Special 26 and Baby. He has ditched his Mr. Funnybones title with recent films bringing back the focus on facets of life closer to ground reality. And Bollywood too, finally seems to be welcoming of more such subjects.
Akshay’s upcoming movie, Airlift , also starring acclaimed actress Nimrat Kaur, is one such movie which talks about a lesser known incident – that of evacuation of 1,70,000 Indians from Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait War of 1990 – also called the largest human evacuation in history.
The official teaser of the movie is out and it looks promising.
