The second song of Udta Punjab titled Ikk Kidu sung by Punjab’s superstar Diljit Dosanjh released today. The song features Diljit singing the track at a restaurant.
It’s a Punjabi number and Diljit has no doubt done full justice to it. After singing several popular hit tracks like Proper Patola, Tung Tung Baje, Pagg Wala Munda, Patiala Peg etc for films and singles, this soulful melody is the latest addition to the actor’s collection.
“I was extremely glad to know that Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi’s poem Ikk Kudi would be featured in my debut Hindi film. And more that I am so excited and happy that I got to sing it. It was really an experience which will always be special for me. I hope people like the song as much as I do,” said Daljit.
The actor moreover is receiving great response for his courageous character in Udta Punjab. He’ ll be seen essaying the role of a tough cop of Punjab.
