Ambanis May Rope In Maroon 5 For Akash’s Sangeet & We’re Shouting ‘Yes, Please’ Without Invitation

If reports are anything to go by, the Ambanis have invited Maroon 5 for a ‘concert’ at son Akash Ambani’s sangeet ceremony in Switzerland. 

Because you know, they can. 

I’d be freaking out under normal circumstances but after Beyonce’s private performance at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding, nothing seems to be far-fetched for the Ambanis. 

At this point, I also feel the need to mention that there was a post-engagement ceremony for Isha where John Legend had performed. 

My cheap thrill right now is that Maroon 5 would be practicing for Akash and Shloka’s sangeet like me and my cousins practice steps on London Thumakda before a family sangeet. Hum sab ek hi boat mein hain.  

The pre-wedding festivities will be held in the Alps and are supposed to be a private event with only close friends and family members. This includes the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar.  

After that, the whole gang will return to Mumbai for the wedding on March 9.
