Koffee With Karan‘s latest episode featured upcoming film, Student of the Year 2‘s cast, Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, and Ananya Panday.
And one thing that caught everybody’s eye was Ananya getting candid about nepotism and where she stands with it.
From Sara Ali Khan to Jahnvi Kapoor, the new generation of actors has got real about the question of nepotism in the industry on the Koffee couch and otherwise.
In the recent episode, Karan Johar, while introducing the three actors, said for Ananya that yes ‘she’s a product of nepotism’. While KJo tossed around the topic in a comical manner, Ananya got real with it.
Then in the initial segment, while welcoming Ananya, he said that there is a certain section which might question, ‘why is Ananya Pandey on Koffee With Karan’?
With a humble demeanor, Ananya gracefully accepted that she agrees with that lot of people.
Surprised with the response, Karan asked her if she believes whether or not she should have gotten the break?
Ananya acknowledged the privilege of getting a break and also the fact there are many people more hardworking and talented than her.
Her genuine response to Karan was like a breath of fresh air. This ‘student of the year’ is definitely teaching Bollywood with her humble acknowledgment of privilege.
