The first teaser of YRF’s upcoming film, Sultan, exceeded our expectations. The teaser gave us the impression that the wrestling saga, based in Haryana, has managed to capture the feel of the sport with its rustic treatment and earthy feel.
But we only saw Salman Khan in the first teaser and were waiting with bated breath to see Anushka Sharma’s character. The new teaser of the movie introduces us to ‘Aarfa’ (Anushka’s character in the film) and highlights the power of a woman. Though it is a welcome change to see Anushka in this badass avatar, we were certainly expecting a little more punch from the teaser. She is introduced as ‘Haryana ki sherni’ and so our expectations from her character to be a little more ferocious was just legit, however, there’s no taking away from the fact that Anushka has really outdone herself from whatever she’s done before.
