The trailer for Sushant Singh Rajput and Manoj Bapayee starrer Sonchiriya released today, and it appears that Bollywood is back with bandits, bombs, and badass characters.
The trailer focuses on the (in)famous dacoits of Chambal, and their encounters with the police, something that the teaser hinted at as well.
Our favorite Bollywood villain, Ashutosh Rana, is back, not as the quintessential ‘bad guy’ but as an inspector out to hunt the dacoits, or so it appears.
Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranvir Shorey, and Manoj Bajpayee play leaders/members of a dacoit gang, who in the fight against the government, also get embroiled in an internal conflict.
The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar – whose fight is not with the government or the dacoits, but rather a fight of survival for her sister and herself. Jatin Sarna (who played Bunty in Sacred Games) also stars in the movie.
