Ayushmann Khurrana is one of Bollywood’s leading stars, whose film choices and impeccable performances have been winning over the audience and critics alike.

In 2018, he gave two of the biggest blockbusters of the year – Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho – that also had unconventional storylines. And at the 66th National Film Awards, both films won big.

Additionally, Ayushmann Khurrana also won his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Andhadhun.

He shared the award with Vicky Kaushal (who won it for URI: The Surgical Strike), and both posted congratulatory messages for each other and thanked the film creators.

But recently, Ayushmann also posted a poem on his Instagram account that chronicles his filmy journey – from the time he first came to Mumbai, to ultimately, winning a National Film Award.

In the last 15 years, Ayushmann has made some unfortunate film choices. But in recent past, his script choices have been nothing short of amazing. And he talked about the same in his poem, while also thanking his parents for their support.

Uth kar gira, gir kar utha. Chala. Udaa.

mein rashtriya puraskaar hai.

This truly was a well-deserved win, and here’s hoping that Ayushmann continues to more such wonderful movies.
