Back in 2014, Dharma Productions came up with a light-hearted, fun love story, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
With Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the title roles, the film was complete popcorn entertainment and worked magic at the box-office.
Cut to 2017 and director Shahshank Khaitan along with Dharma Productions have now decided to turn this film into a franchise and the trailer of their next film from the series, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is out.
The film is set in Uttar Pradesh and looks like a fun romantic comedy. Varun Dhawan is spot on with his comic timing and Alia, as always, is pure magic on screen.
They have also recreated the Sanjay Dutt & Madhuri Dixit track Tamma Tamma & we’re hoping it’ll be just as lavish as Saturday Saturday.
