The box office looks promising this July as two powerhouse performers who were on top of their game back in the day have their film release on the same day. Kajol is back with Dhanush starrer, Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 & Sridevi who was last seen in ‘English Vinglish’ will be making her comeback in her home production titled, Mom.
The same weekend will also have Shraddha Kapoor in a titular tole in the film, Haseena.
Biopic Haseena directed by Apoorva Lakhia is reportedly based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar. The story line of Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 and Mom is yet to be disclosed.
While the Kajol starrer film is in Tamil, It is still unclear if Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 will have a Hindi dubbed version releasing on the same day. Mom is slated to be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu just like ‘English Vinglish’ five years ago.
