According to a report filed by The India Express, a section of politicians are miffed with the actor for expressing his political views on Twitter about the developments in connection with the assembly floor test.

Here are few tweets by the actor that led to the police case.

On being asked whether BJP will ever rope in Kamal Haasan for running the government, Subramanian Swamy slammed the actor by calling him an idiot.

However, the actor gave it back to the politician.

Kamal Haasan who has a huge fan following down South, has been quite vocal about his observations on the political crisis in Tamil Nadu, especially after the death of late chief minister, Jayalalithaa.

Earlier, the 62-year old actor was also seen raising his voice on social media regarding a massive movement in the state against the Supreme Court ban on Jallikattu.
