Case Filed Against Kamal Haasan For Allegedly Making Derogatory Remarks Against Mahabharata

Trouble seems to be mounting for Actor Kamal Haasan with yet another case being filed against him.

Hindu Makkal Katchi party has filed a complaint against the actor for allegedly making derogatory remark against the holy book, Mahabharata, and women in a recent interview. 

According to a report filed by The Hindu, the party has objection with Kamal Haasan quoting Mahabharata while making a statement about women being used as a guarantee in gambling.

According to the report, the members of the party have also stated in the complaint that the actor’s statement has hurt the sentiments of Hindus and this could possibly lead to violence between groups, causing unrest in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Earlier, the Indian National League Party had filed a police case against him for allegedly instigating violence among people through his tweets at Chennai Commissionerate.
