After the Mumbai Police responded to writer Shobhaa De over a tweet, police official Daulatram Jogawat who was shamed in it, revealed that it was a health condition that led to his obesity.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, the Madhya Pradesh police official said that he weighed 180 kilos due to an insulin imbalance, and not because he overeats.
“If madam wants, she can pay for my treatment. Who doesn’t want to be thin”, Jogawat told HT.
Shobha De on Tuesday had received a rebuttal from the Mumbai Police for posting the picture on Twitter.
