‘Dangal’ Is Now The First Hindi Film To Make Rs 375 Crore At The Box Office

With a collection of Rs 376.14 crore at the box office, Aamir Khan’s Dangal has now become the first Hindi film ever to earn over Rs 375 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Saturday to say that Aamir Khan’s latest release Dangal has created history with a collection of Rs 1.19 crore on its 5th Friday. 

He also summed up the the records the film has set by far after its release.

Dangal has also crossed USD 29 million in the overseas market.

According to the figures provided by UTV Disney, the cumulative earnings reached USD 12.03 million from other countries.

Dangal is a sports biopic, based on the real life of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat along with her daughters Geeta and Babita. 

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie also features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Suhani Bhatnagar and Zaira Wasim in the lead role.
