Despite Being A Part Of ‘Dear Zindagi’, Pak Actor Ali Zafar May Be Dropped From All Promotional Campaigns

Taking a cue from what Filmmaker Karan Johar is facing currently for having a Pakistani actor as a part of his ensemble cast in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The makers of SRK-Alia starrer, Dear Zindagi are making sure they tread carefully in such tricky situations.

Dear Zindagi will have Pakistani actor, Ali Zafar as a part of the ensemble cast in a supporting role. But sources close to the production house reveal that Ali may not feature in any promotional campaigns of the film to avoid any sort of backlash.

Sources close to Ali Zafar informed Mid Day, “These are unfortunate circumstances. He has no option but to make peace with it.”

As long as there are no hurdles in the way of it’s release Ali’s absence from the promotional campaign is justified for now.
