Deepika Gets A ‘Sanskari’ Midriff Post VFX In Ghoomar & The Internet Can’t Get Over It

Earlier known as Padmavati, Sanjay Bhansali’s Padmaavat has finally got the nod from Central Board of Film Certification for its release, after a fair share of changes.

One of the obvious changes, apart from the name of course, has been the use of VFX effects to cover up Deepika’s exposed midriff in the song ‘Ghoomar’.

A computer-generated cloth is covering the bare midriff, as can be seen in the newly uploaded video of the song.

Even with the changes to the song, that seems to have generated its own share of controversies, Karni Sena is still not willing to allow the film to release.

Despite the changes having been approved by a group of historians, and the film receiving a U/A certificate by CBFC, Karni Sena continues to issue threats on burning down theaters, if the movie is released.

Twitter was obviously not amused by this bizarre change, because it does defy basic logic.
