If reports are to be believed, Raanjhanaa star Dhanush is all ready to make his debut in the West. Following the footsteps of Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Dhanush is all set to take his Hollywood plunge and it’s going to be huge!
And the talented actor with share screen space with none other than Uma Thurman, best known for her Kill Bill movies.
As per a report in TOI, Marjane Satrapi of Persepolis fame is directing the film. Dhanush will play a magician in the film who is sent to Paris on a secret mission by his mother. The film is an adaptation of the French best-seller The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard.
Dhanush gained international recognition with his viral hit song Kolaveri Di in 2011, which crossed 100 million views on YouTube. He is a huge star in Tamil films and has a good share of fans in Bollywood too.
Interestingly, Kollywood is known for employing technicians and actors from the West but it’s the first time that a Kollywood star is all set to make a mark out there.
