July is all set to hit the Indian box office hard and the trailer of Diljit Dosanjh starrer Soorma is just the perfect addition to the excitement.
The movie is a biopic on the life of Indian hockey player, Sandeep Singh, who became paralyzed from the waist down due to an accidental gunshot wound but still returned to hockey after 2 years.
Directed by Shaad Ali, the trailer definitely seems to bring out the acting prowess of Diljit Dosanjh.
The film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Vijay Raaz and seems to pack all the punch of a typical sports drama.
Though there are similar vibes to Sultan, hopefully, the movie will be a much more realistic retelling of the true story it is inspired from.
Being cited as ‘The Greatest Comeback Story of the Hockey Legend Sandeep Singh’, the trailer is gripping and definitely spikes your interest.
